Heba Abu Musaed

Heba Abu Musaed is a Palestinian Film and TV writer, executive producer and director. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication in 2002, majoring in TV and Radio production and direction, and minoring in Philosophy. 

Heba has served various positions throughout her career, starting out as a producer in the current affairs department at Al Arabyia News, and moving to the creative services as a producer for MBC 1 promotion department. In 2015, Heba received her diploma in film making from the New York Film Academy in Abu Dhabi and directed her first short film “Nafaq”. Since then, Heba has produced, written, and directed award-winning short films like “Love, Older” and “happy birthday Younis”, “Al Rajeem”, and “Abu Mohammed”. In 2011 she produced “Bahiya & Mahmoud” a film that received an Oscar qualification after winning “best of the fest” award in “Palm Springs International Short Film Festival”. 

Heba has worked with MBC group on producing 120 episodes and directing 12 more of “A Second Chance” TV drama and produced original formats for several TV stations in Egypt, Turkey and Iraq. She is currently working on development of several projects including her personal first feature film.
